...is on the Board of Officers for the California Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, INC. as the organization’s Secretary. She is a consultant, trainer and coach for over twelve years, facilitating PBIS scaling up efforts at regional, district and school site levels across California. Ms. Clouse is an affiliate of the National Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports organization at the University of Oregon and the University of Connecticut (pbis.org and cber.org), a professional member of the Association of Positive Behavior Supports, and an active member of the California Coalition on PBIS. She is a national trainer for School-wide Information Systems (SWIS) for schools as well as an international SWIS Facilitator trainer. As a professional speaker, she has presented at national and state level events such as: National PBIS Leadership Forum, NWPBIS Conference, CalSTAT Regional Institute Leadership Conference, Orange County Department of Education RtI² Conference, Meeting of the Minds Mental Health Conference and the Orange County Bully Prevention Summit.

Cristy has over twenty-five years of diverse educational roles and experiences as the following: speech and language pathologist, special education instructor, general educator, PBIS internal coach and administrator. Her background training is in the area of functional communication theory, cognitive learning processes, behavioral science, organizational systems theory, educational administration and professional development strategies for adult learners. She is certified as a Behavior Intervention Case Manager, Brain-based Learning Specialist, Cognitive Coach and Professional Developer. Currently, her professional focus centers around innovative curriculum development, educational reform, the scaling up of evidence-based practices in education and organizational systems change. Areas of expertise include secondary and tertiary tier systems, data and practices, Autism Spectrum Disorders, bully prevention and team-based data decision-making.
